Located in North Derbyshire, this show home was part of a project for a large property developer, who were building a selection of luxury family homes. The luxury show home was the largest property on the development, and our client wanted it to attract an affluent customer.
The show home included 5 large bedrooms, situated over three floors. Downstairs the large living room was double aspected, with windows facing out to both the front and rear of the property. The kitchen and dining area were open plan, with patio doors out into the garden.
Our client wanted the properly to be luxurious and elegant, with a clean and modern neutral colour scheme. It needed to appeal to an affluent customer, with disposable income that they might spend on their home and garden.
The Interior Design
We chose a neutral colour palette of creams and greys, carried throughout the entire property. Different textures and fabrics were used to add dimension to the interior, while pops of fuchsias and turquoise gave a lift to the palette. We chose mirrored furniture for the living room, coupled with velvet effect sofas for an opulent look. Crystal light fittings gave the finishing touch to these rooms. They reflected lots of light, making the rooms appear even more spacious and airy. The master bedroom was at the top of the property, and this was given the ultimate luxury makeover. We were very proud of this luxury show home, and are happy to report that it was a huge success, with all properties on the development selling within a couple of weeks.
