We recently completed this beautiful 3-bed holiday home in Dorset. Part of a 3-property project, the client wanted a vibrant and unique interior that would attract potential holidaymakers and maximise the return on their investment. We designed, delivered and installed the holiday home interior.
This 3-bed property was duplicated to create two identical homes next to one another. We decided on a subtle coastal theme for this property, with references to the sea and the beautiful region that contains iconic features like Durdle Door and areas of outstanding national beauty like Cranborne Chase and the South Downs.
The main colourway is duck egg blue, teal blue, navy, and coral/blush pink which creates a warm and light interior that is modern and appeals to a wide demographic. This increases the potential number of bookings for the holiday let and the yield that the client can expect to receive from their investment.
The furniture in the living room is a high-quality, sturdy whitewashed wooden range that is easy to assemble/disassemble and clean - a key factor for the maintenance and longevity of the interior as a holiday home.
In the master bedroom, we opted for a bespoke 4-poster bed to accentuate the large room and high ceilings. We also added lots of storage with bedsides, a chest of drawers, and a dressing table to complement the fitted wardrobe and provide lots of versatility for any holidaymakers. The second bedroom contains two single beds with lots of storage and a light, contrasting navy and duck egg colourway to appeal to younger occupants. Bedroom three was designed with a light interior, containing a king-sized off-white bed and matching furniture, as well as a distressed wood wallpaper as the feature wall.
We completed the following services as part of this project:
Full, bespoke design for each property, including mood boards, 3D modelling/rendering and itemised costing
Sourcing and storage of the complete home interior
Assembling of all furniture
Delivery of the interior to the site from our base in Derbyshire
Painting and decorating including feature walls
Supply of spare bedding and towels for guests
Supply of basic cleaning materials and other items necessary for taking bookings such as kitchen utensils and dinnerware
